I tried yoga and deeper streching

I’m as stiff as a 2×4

Sunday my boys and gals, it’s a reset. That means grocery shopping, meal prep and cleaning.

But before all that, I tried yoga this morning. I started with the Upward Facing Dog, the Child Pose and finally the Downward Facing Dog. And I face palmed.

I’m need way more flexibility. However, I realize that this week of moving my body around and just being active allowed me to stand up from the ground with my knees only. I haven’t been able to do it in ages.

WEEK MEAL PREP

This week lunches for my girlfriend and I will be salmond pasta salad with Bulgoni ground beef and veggies. I tried to find the chickpea pastas but my local groceries don’t hold these “fancy” items.

Also, if you meal prep with freezer bags, these little bag holder are godsent.

Right now I feel…

Incredible. Although the end of the weekend has been rough with shopping and cooking it’s part of the journey. I might need to find ways to optimize the effort and time spent on these tasks.

What Did I learned or Skills I improve today?

I learned about stretching and yoga poses. I used to do it in college for fun, but never seriously. It’s really a whole world. I still aim for the physical training rather than the spiritual one with Yoga.

What Challenge did I face?

Shoulder are hurting a little and are sores. Maybe i had a bad form in my training or I was too happy to workout I went too hard.
