Finding the Right community
It’s starting to get cold outside. Perfect weather for my inner fire to grow.

Today was one of those days where you don’t want to go to work, but you decided to quit bitching and do the thing you hate.
You see, for two years I was going in-office only once a week, the rest I was remote. Then we received the news earlier this month that the company policy would change for a mandatory 3-days in-office starting in january.
What did I do? I complained. I was mad because it changed my routine. But it did not aligned with the person I want to become so I embraced it. I started to go two even three days. And you know what? I enjoy it.
Mind you, this is a 140 km (87 miles) roundtrip each day. It takes me around 45 minutes to an hour and a half going and the same returning, often in trafic.
But I can’t control that, that’s a corporate policy. So what you can’t control, you adjust and react positively. Now I vibe in my car with music or I listen to podcasts.
Do the thing you hate, so it becomes fun.

Right now I feel…
A little exhausted. Not gonna lie, that whole winter arc is something my body is not accustomed. I went from hours of gaming in the morning and in the evening to a morning ritual and a late workout. I tried to pace myself so I don’t quit like the other times.
But even if it sucks and I’m tired, the difference now is that I enjoy it and I’m seeing results. This is what matters.
What Did I learned or Skills I improve today?

What Am I proud today?
I’m proud that I woke up this morning and still went to work. Nobody was in the office because… well it’s monday and the others still stay home. But I went, it was my goal.
What Challenge did I face?
It’s winter here in Canada and we have a Law for mandatory winter tires before December 1st. Well surprise surprise, its our second heavy snowfall and freezing rain in November. But its not a problem for me, I planned and got mine changed. My girlfriend on the other hand waited a bit too long. So I changed her’s tonight. It was windy, dark and cold. And I think I pulled my back a little. Which affected my workout a little bit.
